Livingston is located on the Yellowstone River and serves as the northern gateway to Yellowstone Park. The park lies about an hours drive south of Livingston through the amazing Paradise Valley. The valley is a historic elk migration route from the north end of Yellowstone Park and also holds evidence of ancient human settlements. Chico Hot Springs Resort, located in Paradise Valley, is a wedding destination and also a great place to soak your bones and enjoy live music and libations. Livingston has seen some development in recent years but remains mostly as it has been since the early railroad days that created the town.
