Twenty-three years ago my wife and I drove through Bozeman while on our honeymoon to visit as many National Parks as we could in a two-week period of time. We created so many great memories of exploring the Gallatin Range and Bozeman. Prior to leaving Bozeman we decided Montana was where we wanted to live and Bozeman is where we wanted to raise our family. Beautiful scenery, unlimited recreational opportunities and the friendly folks we met on our vacation made this an easy decision. We have been in Bozeman for twenty-two years now and I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to raise my family in Montana. I grew up in Wisconsin, in a family that has been in real estate and commercial/residential building construction businesses for over sixty years. My parents had five boys to keep busy during the summer months. They would purchase a distressed home which then became our summer project. Upon completion of the project the house would be sold and we would split the proceeds. Those summer projects provided me with a great opportunity to develop a good work ethic and also a fundamental understanding of the real estate industry. I graduated from Arizona State University, Tempe, Arizona with a degree in Natural Resources Management with an emphasis on hydrological resources. For the past thirty years I have worked as a hydrologist and also owned and operated a Historic Restoration construction business. My wife and I have bought and sold real estate for many years and have recently completed a Transfer of Development Right of a Planned Unit Development proposed for one of our properties. As your Agent I will work tirelessly to sell your property or find that perfect property you have always dreamt of owning. I can also assist you with a Transfer of Development Rights or placement of a Conservation Easement on your property. I am here to help you accomplish all of your real estate goals.
A Montana resident for more than 10 years, I moved to Bozeman to attend Montana State University. I’ve always enjoyed the outdoors and throughout college worked as a raft guide and ski instructor. After graduating I accepted a sales position for the Big Sky Chamber of Commerce. Working for them provided me with a great opportunity to meet local business owners and learn how our community works behind the scenes. My hardworking ethic and friendly attitude has led me to many great experiences. In high school, I competed in freestyle mogul skiing and attended the Junior Olympics. In college, I was invited on a whitewater rafting trip that eventually led to meeting my now husband, Justin Miller. Together we’ve grown a successful forestry and excavation business called Big Sky Fire Prevention. Now as a licensed agent, I’m excited to bring my knowledge and passion to help people find their dream home and investment opportunities.
I along with many others originally moved to Montana to follow my love and passion for the Outdoors. Whether it is skiing, mountain biking, fishing or hiking you can typically find me in one of our vast mountain ranges.
I moved out to Bozeman in 2004 to attend Montana State University and upon graduation I couldn't think of any place I'd rather live. Bozeman is a town where a lost wallet is still returned with cash inside, the quality of life is unparalleled.
Hi, My name is Michael Moen. I’ve lived my entire life here and as such I know Montana. I live its promise of adventure on its rivers, in its mountains, hiking its trails, hunting its magnificent elk armed only with a bow and arrow, skiing it’s pristine snow, enjoying so many of it’s adventures. Having grown up in Montana I have risen to Montana’s demand for hard work. My first work experience was as a hand at a ranch on the banks of the legendary and majestic Smith River. Born with an entrepreneurial spirit, my motivation has come from a desire to help clients realize their vision for the ideal Montana home.
My goal for you as a Customer is to give you the best Real Estate experience possible, make sure you get the best price available, and do everything I can to form a long lasting relationship. While some agents will post sold data I believe that a transaction is confidential and is no ones business but your own. I am excited to join Todd and Ranch & Resort Group, Inc. and put to use all of my years of experience in business and real estate. Having been in the valley for 15 years and having worked in the real estate and and banking fields, I feel I can offer a valuable service to my clients. I have a great understanding of real estate values and land. I have many research tools available to me to make sure you are getting either a great price for your purchase or top dollar for you sale. I believe in full disclosure, honesty, and integrity when it comes to real estate. I am here to help you navigate the transaction from signing the buy/sell or listing to recording of the deed with the county. I look forward to the opportunity to help you achieve your real estate goals. Please feel free to view my other qualifications and credentials. Thank you, Nathan D. Goodman
When my parents first brought our family to Big Sky in the early 70's, Big Sky Ski Resort was just being built. We have been involved in the community, and business in the Big Sky area ever since. Our family invested in real estate in those early days, and we have since developed residential and commercial subdivisions. As the developments progressed, my wife Melissa and I, as Cronin Construction, have been the general contractors on dozens of houses, condos, and commercial buildings in South Fork, West Fork and Blue Grouse Hills.
grew up in Billings, MT in a family that worked to play and loved being outdoors. The majority of my free time was spent on the rivers and mountains of southwest Montana and my family’s working cattle ranch. In 2001, I moved to Bozeman to pursue a degree in Biology at Montana State University. During my tenure at Montana State I spent my summers and falls guiding flyfishing on many of Montana’s world class fisheries. After graduating, I founded Bozeman Outfitters where I continued to successfully guide guests on some of Montana’s most spectacular public and private waters. Through my lifetime of experience in Montana I have gathered a unique skill set to break down the value of land for both recreation and production. My attention to detail and work ethic has proved to be a winning combination for clients whether buying or selling property. I have a B.S. in Biology from Montana State University, hold a private pilot license and USCG captains license. In my spare time I like to do pretty much anything outside. I ski, hunt, backpack, gather cattle and sometimes still go fishing.
My wife Pam and I have made Big Sky our home for over twenty years. Having been born and raised two hours south of Big Sky in Idaho, my passions and work have always been outdoor orientated. I am at my happiest while I am fishing, hunting, skiing or guiding clients whether its for the trout of a lifetime or the home of their dreams. My fishing clients were the driving force behind my career in real estate, and I bring a philosophy of guiding versus selling to help them find their dreams.
My wife Tami and I decided to turn our dream of living in Bozeman into a reality almost 14 years ago. What brought us here was our love for the outdoors and the ability to pursue our hobbies of hunting, fishing and snowboarding, Montana is truly the last best place.
I was born in Bozeman as a 5th generation Montanan. I grew up in an active family enjoying all the outdoor activities Montana has to offer. My knowledge of the history and people of the region enabled me to develop a deep respect for the land, and its resources.
Every one of us finds ourself in Southwest Montana for different, often deeply personal reasons. Yet, Big Sky Country’s undeniable freedom and open spaces are strong unifying motivations. Though our paths are diverse, many of us find common ground in our strong work ethic, willingness to take risks, love of exploration, and humble independence; Montana’s true spirit personified. We are a people unafraid to blaze our own paths, whether in the backcountry or in life itself. This is why we are here. It is certainly why I am here.
I am committed to helping clients find the perfect property for themselves and their families, a place they can stretch their legs and breathe. If selling, I will fetch top dollar for your home’s full potential. Utilizing the strong role model my grandfather set forth when I was small: I am a fair yet unflinching businessman. He’d have it no other way. My wife says I’m also kind and a good listener, or she wouldn’t have married me. This is good for both of us, because it helps me navigate our dynamic real estate market, sort through options, and take the time to really get to know my clients; your wants, needs, and imaginations genuinely and out of real interest.
My wife and I are both small business owners, second home caretaking and ceramic arts, respectively. Raising two small children under the big sky makes our lives feel complete, though messy and chaotic at times. Connection with friends and family is foremost in our lives. And, we give back. Part of our legacy is giving annually to Warriors and Quiet Waters, a local non-profit facilitating therapeutic fly fishing for combat veterans, and the Dana-Farber Institute (The Jimmy Fund), one of the leading cancer research hospitals for children.

Born and raised in the Rocky Mountains of Southwestern Colorado, my passion for the outdoors was instilled in me early on. After completing a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, I was ready to get back to the mountains and I found myself in Bozeman, Montana. Over a decade later, I can't imagine calling anywhere else home. The incredible surroundings and endless recreational opportunities drew me to the area, but the amazing community and close friends is what has kept me here. Whether you come here to pursue adventure, raise a family, start a business or find tranquility, Bozeman is a place where anyone can feel at home.
As a licensed Real Estate Salesperson at Ranch and Resort Group, I look forward to helping clients find the perfect property to suit their needs or finding the right buyer to ensure that their investment pays off. I will work hard to make sure that the complicated process of buying or selling real estate is handled with care and professionalism.
Growing up in Montana, I learned to work hard and play even harder. I moved out to Bozeman three years ago to attend MSU and am currently finishing my bachelor's degree in business--accounting focused. I grew up in a very active family with parents who built their property management company from the ground up, which helped me learn the business, as well as the true value of hardwork and sweat equity.
To have the opportunity to be in Bozeman working for R&R is awesome. I spend my free time outside- hiking, camping, snowmobiling and playing with my dog. Having all these recreational activities literally right in my backyard, as well as living in a community of honest and happy people, has made Bozeman feel like home in no time. I couldn't imagine being anywhere else. Drop me a line, I'm always happy to help!
